Rubies

Burmese rubies of those times are essentially precious stones on blood. As according to the laws of that time, those who find a large ruby in the Mogok mine and don’t give it to the King’s treasury will be killed. Entire villages died because of this law, people ran away from the Mogok mine as far as possible. The rubies of JN Forster are just such - found by this bloody law. However, it is also the legendary, the rarest rubies in the history of the Mogok mine.
